We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. • Media and Device Access: With your permission, we access your camera, microphone, and photo library to allow features like capturing workout photos, recording videos (e.g., for form checks), or adding voice notes. We do not access these without your explicit consent.
    • Contact Information: If you contact us for support, we may collect your email address or other details you provide.
  • Automatically Collected Information

    • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, and mobile network information.
    • Localization Data: Device language and region settings to provide localized content (e.g., date formats or language support). We do not collect precise location data unless you enable it for specific features.
    • Notifications: If you enable push notifications, we collect device tokens to send reminders or updates about your workouts.
  • Health and Fitness Data As a workout tracking app, we may collect health-related information you provide, such as workout history, progress metrics, or body measurements. This data is stored securely and used solely to help you track your fitness goals. We do not collect sensitive health data (e.g., medical conditions) unless explicitly provided by you.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the App’s core features, such as workout tracking, logging, and progress visualization.
  • To authenticate users and secure your account (e.g., via Face ID or sign-in services).

  • To send push notifications for workout reminders, achievements, or app updates (you can opt out at any time).
  • To improve the App, analyze usage trends, and develop new features.
  • To communicate with you, including responding to support requests or sending service-related emails.
  • To comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, or enforce our terms. We do not use your data for automated decision-making that significantly affects you.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it in limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With third-party vendors who assist us in operating the App (e.g., cloud storage like Expo’s services, analytics tools, or notification providers). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or government request.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
  • With Your Consent: For any other purpose with your explicit permission. We do not share workout or health data with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your information is stored on secure servers in the United States or other regions compliant with data protection laws. We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption (e.g., via Expo Secure Store), access controls, and regular audits, to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain your data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, or as required by law. For example, workout logs are kept indefinitely unless you delete them, but inactive accounts may be purged after a period of inactivity.

6. Your Rights and Choices:

You have control over your information:

  • Access and Update: View, edit, or export your workout data and profile information within the App.
  • Delete Data: Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Note that some data may be retained for legal reasons.

  • Do Not Track: The App does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, as it is a mobile app. Residents of certain regions (e.g., EU under GDPR, California under CCPA) may have additional rights, such as data portability or objection to processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us.

8. International Transfers

If you are located outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the US, where data protection laws may differ. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Apple Health or Google Fit, if enabled). These services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. Review their policies before connecting.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in the App with the updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant changes, we may notify you via email or in-app notification.
